SOS Mac High Alumni!

SOS Mac High Alumni!

Survival of the Executive Committee is in serious jeopardy. My serving as President, Vice President, Secretary and Liaison Officer is NOT in compliance with our mandate. Although we have reached many of the year's objectives we do not have trained, local individuals poised for any of the open leadership roles.

Having served on the Executive Committee since 2005 and having played a key role in organizing the 2007 Centennial Celebrations, I know the ropes well and would be delighted to guide a new,
vice-president. It would be so sad to see the committee dissolve for want of involvement. There
are very able souls out there who would do an excellent job and be a fine asset to the team.

The solution is simple: LOCAL PEOPLE COME OUT TO the May 24th AGM. Arrive with your
sleeves rolled up! This meeting will be all business BUT there's nothing to stop you jazzing over a
beer after the meeting! The Legion Bar is open and it would welcome your business.
Here's what you need to know:

AGM DATE: Saturday May 24th, 2014 12:00 – 14:00
PLACE: The Royal Canadian Legion, 28 rue Ste. Anne, Ste. Anne de Bellevue

MHSAA Executive seats to be filled:

• Vice President
• Secretary
• Liaison Officer
• Treasurer
• Lead of Fundraising Committee

If you would like a *MAC HIGH Reunion 2017* (110 years!) volunteers for the following positions
are needed. Let's see how much interest there is; come out to this AGM and begin your planning.
Reunion Committee Seats to be filled (We have organizational data available from 2007).

Your presence is strongly urged.

Please read the following before the meeting:

• April's "Go Mac Go" :
• 2013 AGM Minutes:
• 2014 Agenda (soon to be posted)

Conference calling will not be set up this time; our aim is to strengthen the core committee at the
local level first.

The 2014 Minutes will be made available via personal email (if you registered - fill in form on the right sidebar), this website and FaceBook.

Warm regards to all,
